Attorney Brian Andrew Tully, Esq. is proud to announce that his article, “Elder Law Concepts” has been chosen to appear in the newly released publication “WealthCounsel.”® In his article, Mr. Tully explains why it is important to hire an experienced elder law attorney when you reach retirement, and what you need to do in order to make sure that your family is cared for, in the event you become incapacitated. If you do not plan ahead, Mr. Tully warns, it will cost you and your family more money and more stress, and the decision on how your assets will be divided will be left up to the courts.

Mr. Tully was the only elder law attorney from New York State to have his article chosen for submission. He is a contributing author to the New York State Bar Association’s “Long Term Care Reform Report,” which was published and presented to the New York State Legislature in 2005. In addition, he is on the Board of Editors for the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law Attorney publication, and a contributing author to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) 2008 publication “The CPA’s Guide to Long Term Care Planning.”
