Seminar Presented in Recognition of May Being National Elder Law Month

Melville, NY — In recognition of the month of May being National Elder Law Month, Tully Law, P.C. is joining the Long Island chapter of Alzheimer’s Association (AALI) in presenting “Importance of Having a Health Care Proxy” on May 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The law firm is located at 532 Broadhollow Road, Suite 123 in Melville.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to meet the attorneys from Tully Law, P.C. and learn what a health care proxy is, why it is so important and how to complete a health care proxy. During National Elder Law Month, elder law attorneys educate senior citizens about their legal options and provide pro bono services.

“We are proud to work with Alzheimer’s Association Long Island in bringing this informative presentation to our firm,” said Brian Andrew Tully, Partner, Tully Law, P.C. and a Certified Elder Law Attorney with the National Elder Law Foundation. “It is necessary for all adults and seniors to have a health care proxy in place in the event they become incapacitated. They need to make sure there is someone of their own choosing available to make care decisions if they can’t do it themselves.”

Admission is free, but reservations are required. To make a reservation, or for more information, call (631) 424-2800 or visit.
