Kira M. Guarniere is a dedicated Medicaid Paralegal with a strong background in legal studies and a passion for assisting clients in navigating complex legal matters. She holds a B.S. in Legal Studies from SUNY Canton. She was a member of the LEX National Honor Society and demonstrated exceptional academic achievements, graduating summa cum laude with an impressive 3.95 GPA. Kira also completed the Paralegal Certificate Program at Nassau Community College and holds an A.S. in Liberal Arts with a Foreign Language Emphasis from Suffolk Community College.
Known for her attention to detail, focus, and efficiency, Kira brings a compassionate and patient approach to her work. Kira gained valuable experience working as a paralegal for in-house counsel at a corporation that owned and operated multiple nursing homes on Long Island. In this role, she handled various legal matters, including Medicaid, Guardianship, and resident account reconciliation.
Prior to that, Kira worked with solo practitioners specializing in estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, guardianships, and Medicaid. She has also actively participated in community fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer's Association annual walk, showcasing her dedication to making a positive impact beyond the legal field.In August 2022, Kira joined Tully Law Group. Her decision to transition away from nursing homes and medical debt collections stemmed from a desire to have direct client interactions and build meaningful relationships. During her interview for her position at the firm, she was immediately drawn to the warm and inviting culture. Kira's passion for helping the elderly aligns perfectly with Tully Law Group's mission.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Kira is an avid reader who enjoys leisurely bicycle rides along the boardwalk and spending time at the beach. She is committed to an active lifestyle, engaging in activities such as hiking and working out.
