In December of 2022, we welcomed Mrs. P into our care at Tully Law, as she embarked on a new chapter at 103 years young. Living on the eastern end of Long Island with her daughter and son-in-law, both in their 70s, the family faced the challenge of meeting Mrs. P’s increasing care needs while managing their own responsibilities. With Mrs. P’s daughter still working, they had been privately financing visiting aides and nurses to ensure her well-being.
Understanding the family’s upcoming relocation and the heightened care demands, they entrusted us with Mrs. P’s Elder Law and Life Care Planning (LCP) services. Our dedicated Elder Care Coordinator, Raina, stepped in to orchestrate a seamless transition.
Under Raina’s guidance, the Tully Team supported the family through every stage of the process. We assisted in relocating Mrs. P to an assisted living facility during the family’s relocation, overseeing the sale and purchase of their new home, and coordinating renovations. Throughout this period of change, our team ensured Mrs. P received the round-the-clock care she required, bringing much-needed consistency and peace of mind to her family.
Recently, Mrs. P joyfully settled into her new home, surrounded by loved ones, and celebrated her remarkable 105th birthday. This milestone, made possible by the unwavering support of the Tully team, underscores our commitment to enhancing the lives of our elderly clients.
Moreover, our assistance extended beyond immediate care needs. Recognizing the importance of long-term planning, Mrs. P’s daughter and son-in-law have since engaged our services for their own estate planning, inspired by the trusted relationship fostered during Mrs. P’s care journey.
