There are many different types of assistance programs available that may be able to help with your rent, heating costs, medication, and more if you are eligible. The New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section published a pamphlet that introduces 17 different benefits that older New Yorkers may be eligible for. The following benefits are highlighted in the pamphlet:
