Did you know that Medicare offers a portal for individuals to view their Medicare records? www.MyMedicare.gov which is part of the www.medicare.gov web site, allows individuals to personalize their Medicare information. This free and secure site allows people on Medicare to check the status of their eligibility, enrollment, and other Medicare benefits. With MyMedicare.gov individuals can access their claims information almost immediately after it is processed by Medicare; check their health prescription drug enrollment information, manage their prescription drug list and create an “On the Go Report” to share with health care providers. The website’s “Blue Button” feature also gives users the option to download their claims into a text file which can then be easily saved to their computer or printed.
