Recently published an article announcing that the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has retracted their statement that reverse mortgages should be used only as a last resort. This statement was removed from their published investors alert because an academic study conducted by the Funding Longevity Task Force uncovered “growing proof that housing wealth, when used conservatively early on in retirement, can sustain cash flow.” The Reverse Mortgage Daily article can be found at the following:
